Economy

       In 2004 Lampang gross province products was 38,469 million baht. Major incomes were from wholesale and retail trade (18.49%), mining and quarrying, and agriculture respectively.

Per capital income of Lampang residents in 2004 was 48,726 baht/person/year.

Income

   

       Tax revenue in the year 2005 was 1,329 million baht, mostly from personal income tax, value added tax and corporation income tax. Excise tax was 101 million baht, mostly from beverage tax and liqueur tax.
